    Saint Mary's Professional Science Master's in Biotech program provides graduates with industry-leading professional guidance and mentorship in a small school environment where faculty are committed to your success—whether you're new to the field or have experience and want to advance into more advanced roles.



    Register for this upcoming information session featuring PSM Program Director Dr. Vidya Chandrasekaran to learn more about our two-year, hybrid graduate STEM program highlighting the interdisciplinary conversations between science and the business side of the biotechnology industry.

    The program includes flexible evening and weekend courses tailored to the busy lives of working professionals and is designed with the small class size and faculty attention that is a hallmark of Saint Mary's College. Please RSVP below to receive instructions with how to join the Zoom session.     Speaker Bios:

    Dr. Vidya Chandrasekaran is an experienced scientist, educator and a collaborative, strategic leader committed to a high quality, rigorous education and training of a diverse group of science professionals. She is dedicated to making student-centered science education affordable and accessible to a wide range of STEM students and launched the Professional Science Master's in Biotechnology program at Saint Mary's College of California.

    She received her PhD in Pharmacology and Toxicology at the State University of New York at Buffalo and has been teaching at Saint Mary's since 2007. In addition to serving as faculty at both the undergraduate and graduate levels, Dr. Chandrasekaran works one-on-one with our graduate students throughout their time in the PSM program to better identify long-term career goals, guide them through the job search process, and offer support as they navigate the professional world.
